Ears, Nose, & Throat
Overall wellness of a pet can often be determined by evaluating the Ears, Nose, and Throat (E.N.T.). Changes in a pets “voice”, hearing, balance, breathing, or sleep may be signs that a pet’s E.N.T. should be evaluated.
Changes in hearing, swelling of the ears, or discharge associated with the ears may be a sign of environmental allergies, food allergies, masses, autoimmune disease, neurologic dysfunction and cognitive dysfunction among other issues.
Changes in the nose or throat may be due to infectious disease, autoimmune disease, parasites, cardiovascular disease, genetic disease, sinus problems, allergy, or cancer.
If you notice any changes associated with your pet's ears, nose or throat please schedule them for an evaluation.
